He hugs Rei tight around the waist, face buried in his shirt.] Thank you, Rei-chan...

_{[ He should've seen the hug coming, but he didn't and so that made him a little flustered. Rei did hug him in return and then huffed, literally adjusting his glasses in the middle of the hug. ]}

Of course! Like I said, I always buy you a lot of things, so it's no trouble at all.

[Nagisa pulls back a little to look up at him. Sure, Rei buys him things... but not quite to this extent. And certainly not on Valentine's Day. He honestly can't believe this was all for him.]

That's right! [He smiles, bright and sunny and cheerful and beyond touched. He removes himself from Rei before turns to the table, looking from one present to another excitedly.]

I made them chocolates, of course. I already put them in their mailboxes, or I could show you.

_{[ He said that as if it was an obvious thing. Give him a moment and he would realize that he didn't do nearly as much for them as he did Nagisa. ]}

I have the molds I used, but that's it. I have not delivered Sousuke-san's chocolates yet, so I'll show you those, but I suppose I will cook for you now before you start getting impatient.

_{[ Rei went over to put on an apron and then went to the already laid out ingredients for what he was going to cook them. ]}

Yay! Rei-chan, can I help?

[Don't let him help with too much or he'll just...throw away the vegetables while Rei isn't looking or something. He hovers around the kitchen, inspecting everything curiously.]

I suppose so, but I refuse to let you add the spices or deal with the vegetables! I know you'll put too much salt and sugar on everything...

_{[ The last time he let Nagisa make one single veggie was the time he probably poured sugar on them and called it an "accident" when it was clearly on purpose.... ]}

I said that was an accident, Rei-chan! [He laughs, making it clear that... yeah, it wasn't an accident at all.] So, so! What should I do?

_{[ He caught him red-handed that one time where Nagisa was probably climbing onto the counter to find the salt and sugar... ]}

I suppose you could handle the meat and the noodles, but I will be making sure you do not put anything funny in there--I mean it!

Aye, aye, captain!

[Nagisa ignores the threat, humming a random song as he hops around the kitchen to gather what he needs to do his part.]

--ah, what am I supposed to do with the meat?

_{[ Rei just laughed as his enthusiasm which was refreshing as always, and of course he went over to the vegetables to get them ready. That was, until Nagisa asked what he was supposed to do with the meat. ]}

Oh--You add a few spices to it before grilling it. I already got all of the bad parts off of it, so all you have to do is grill it on the stove--let me show you.

_{[ Rei would bring the plate of meat that he had prepared and then point to the one Nagisa should season it with. The moment Nagisa would go to pick up the jar or spices or sauces would be the exact moment that Rei would pick it up as well, causing their hands to brush against each other.

....Also causing Rei to blush and forget what he was doing. ]}

[Nagisa flushes a little as well, but he quickly hides it behind a laugh before taking the jar anyway and opening it. He sniffs it gently-- woo how strong.]

Thanks...Rei-chan. [He sprinkles the spices on, making sure it's all well spread.] Sorry for distracting you, Rei-chan.

It's--nothing. It's fine---don't put too much!

_{[ Nagisa is doing just fine, but here Rei goes, still worrying. He sighed while adjusting his glasses, trying to regain his composure. ]}

That should be enough, now you could cook it if you want. _{[ He still has not touched the veggies... ]}

[Nagisa gathers the pan and the oil, prepping the pan with oil and setting the stove at a medium heat.]

Is this hot enough?

Captain?--and yes, definitely put it on medium so that it will not burn. Be sure to check the meat every now and then so you can flip it when needed.

_{[ Rei decided that he should actually start on the veggies now, so he put a pan right next to Nagisa's pan that he was working on so that they could both cook next to each other. ]}

Yup- you're still captain, even here, Rei-chan!

[He smiles and hums, setting the meat in the pan and grabbing a spatula to press on it.]

I suppose I am still the high school captain, since even here...Makoto-senpai and Haruka-senpai have both graduated.

_{[ Not that he wasn't about to graduate here soon since he was technically a 3rd year here too as well. Anyway, he's also impressed that Nagisa is taking cooking seriously and not playing around....yet. ]}

[And he flips it! Yelping a little when some hot oil flies out of the pan and gets on him.]
